Mountain and Moorland

[BACK]

Most of the Mountain and Moorland ponies which you see in the UK originate from all over the UK and Southern Ireland.  Each breed has its own distinctive looks and characteristics and breed society.  Mountain and Moorland ponies are popular with families as 'mother and daughter' animals and they compete in classes from local to Horse of the Year standard.

Competed successfully at showing and dressage.  Qualified for Ponies UK in 1996, 1997 - won and placed every time shown.

Mock-hunted for three seasons.

I've recently concentrated on dressage with him and qualified for the  Hickstead Championship 2000.  A placing is virtually guaranteed at Elementary and Novice levels.  He is 100% in every way.  He's a perfect gentleman with exceptionally good manners: he's also safe in traffic.

This is a reluctant sale forced by changed financial circumstances and a good caring home is essential.

£4,000.00     Sold sound and open to vet.
