Endurance riding as a sport is growing rapidly due largely to the tremendous success of the international teams from the UK. The Golden Horseshow ride is famous throughout the world as a test of stamina, map-reading and teamwork between horse and rider and rider and support team! Teams from the UK now successfully compete around the world in some of the most inhospitable landscapes and consistently do well. Arab horses tend to do well in this sphere but other breeds can also succeed.
